Security Industry Federation

The Security Industry Federation (SIF) are a UK Government registered trade union that represents all of those that work within the UK security industry. The SIF recognises that security professionals are skilled workers having undergone rigorous SIA training, passed exams and put themselves in harms way to protect the public. They are often the first responders and offer vital evidence to the police and partner organisations.

As well as supporting it’s members in the day to day issues of disciplinary, welfare and grievance disputes there manifesto states that they are working closely with the SIA, the Living Wage Foundation, security employers and clients in order to support the interests of frontline security workers.

The Security Industry Federation and reward partners offer expert legal advice, discounts at retailers and 24/7 telephone support and face to face counselling for mental health, financial and addiction issues.
